    Registration opens for the 2026-2027 swim season!

    Tryout Date #1
    Gallatin Civic Center
    Start: 3:45 PM
    End: 4:30 PM

    Only NEW swimmers need to try out. 
    Returning SCSL swimmers and/or year-round club swimmers (Excel, MTSC, NAC) are exempt from tryouts.

    Swimmers only come to ONE tryout date: 09/08 OR 09/09 @ 3:45-4:30.

    Swimmers with scheduling conflicts can request an exception if a Team Manager or Board member verifies their swimming ability. Please contact your Team Manager or SCSL 

    Tryouts:

    • To qualify, swimmers must be able to swim two lengths of the pool (with a break, if needed, in between)
    • Swimmers only need to know one stroke, which is usually freestyle
    • Coaches will be on the pool deck to introduce themselves and answer parent questions
    • Tryouts will feature a light workout to show swimmers what practices and meets are like
    • Swimmers will find out if they made the team before they leave the tryout

    Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to stretch so you are in the pool promptly at 3:45 p.m.
