The Sumner County Swim League (SCSL) was formed in 2019 and has grown to about 150 swimmers.
Our league is made up of swimmers in MIDDLE and HIGH schools in Division 4 of the Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association (MTHSSA). The majority of Division 4 schools are in Sumner County.
The SCSL helps run the County/Division 4 swim meets and helps facilitate swim practices at Gallatin Civic Center.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to help empower student-athletes of all abilities (we are inclusive to beginner and competitive swimmers!) through teamwork, mutual respect, school spirit, and sportsmanship and to help them achieve their maximum potential in and out of the water... And to make swimming fun!
We are dedicated to providing a competitive, safe, and supportive environment. Swimming helps build strong character, discipline, dedication, integrity, and a lifelong passion for success in the pool and in life.
Swimming in Sumner County is a “club” sport and is not an official sanctioned TSSAA sport (we typically do not receive funding from schools). Sumner County Swim League is a non-profit organization – board members are volunteers (and swim parents!).
